Home affairs minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi has extended the validity period of legally issued visas which expired during the lockdown period.

Home Affairs minister Aaron Motsoaledi says that his department plans to officially roll out their e-visa system later this year. Motsoaledi said that the rollout is envisaged to commence in the second quarter of the 2021/2022 financial year for short-term visitor visa applications.
