According to a recent article in Business Tech, South Africa’s provincial and national government authorities are looking at legislation to limit foreigners looking to immigrate to South Africa for work, as anti-immigrant tensions flare-up across the country.
As a result of unrest in Heidelberg and KwaZulu-Natal, KZN premier Sihle Zikalala said the Department of Labour and Home Affairs is developing legislation that will address employment of non-South Africans in all sectors of the economy, including road freight.
